Well this year is proving to be just as historical as last year. While it will miraculously snow once every 10 years or so in SETX, I have never seen this much snow or remember it staying so cold for this long. While I know many are struggling with no power or water right now, it was quite fun when it first started. Coach pulled the kids behind the truck on the boogey board, they attempted to make sleet snow men, and threw lots of snow or more like sleet balls at each other. We hope all of our friends and family are managing to stay warm and that you enjoyed this very rare occasion here in SETX and didn't suffer too much in the cold. We have been fortunate enough to have electricity, though water pressure is so low and we could stay warm under the mountains of clothes that need washing. lol Now that the fun has passed the kids are just cold and watching lots of Frozen! They are going stir crazy! Thankfully the roads are no longer iced over and today our classes are back open. We will run some makeups for those of you that missed or are unable to make it tonight or tomorrow. Strangely enough I find myself hoping for my warm, muggy, mosquito filled weather to return swiftly!!! See you all soon!
